Hours of instruction:

Weekly: four hours of lectures + six hours of labwork (4+0+6)

Goals:

The aim of this course is that students complete their theoretical knowledge in various fields of analytical chemistry (primarily instrumental techniques and analytical techniques (ICP-MS, GC-AAS, GC-MIP, HPLC-ICP, EC-ES -MS.), chemometrics and interpretation of results). In addition, the student will gain theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of forensic analysis, biosensors, electrochemical sensors, micro, ultra and nanosensors and separation techniques (electrophoresis, capillary electrophoresis and chip electrophoresis).

Outcome:

After this course the student is able to properly make the selection and appropriate ultramicro-, micro-or macro-analytical methods in the analysis of complex samples with different backgrounds and for different purposes (forensic chemistry, environmental chemistry, toxicology analysis).
