Goals:

The aim of the course of modern instrumental methods in analytical chemistry to the students, who have already finished courses in classical and instrumental analytical chemistry, and explore the very sensitive and selective intrumental methods. Within the course students should acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of modern electrochemical and optical methods and instrimental analysis. In addition, within the theoretical and practical instruction, students need to master the theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of electrochemistry, bio and nanosensors and kinetic and catalytic methods of analysis. In this course students will be inform with security and quality control of laboratories, treatment of samples, the importance of reference materials, calibration of the analytical system and control of laboratory instruments.

Outcome:

After this course the student is qualified for independent selection and use of all of these instrumental methods to real samples, as well as their modification if needed.
