Goals:

Student gets acquainted in detail with the work on a particular problem in the laboratory of the Faculty of Chemistry, which he/she has selected to perform professional practice with consent of the professor responsible for that laboratory.

Outcome:

Student acquires immediate practical knowledge, experience and a basis for work within the scope of professional practice realization.

Practice:

100 points (6 hours a week)

Remarks:

Student performs professional practice in duration of 90 hours in a laboratory of the Faculty of Chemistry, which he/she has chosen to perform professional practice with the consent of the professor responsible for the laboratory. Accordingly, student receives an initiation at the Student Service to perform professional practice in the selected laboratory with the date of beginning and completion of the professional practice. Student can perform the professional practice at any time of the year (in agreement with the professor), thereafter the end of winter semester.

This course is not graded from 6 to 10, but descriptive. Student submits the diary of professional practice to professor who supervised the professional practice. Based on the insight into the work of the student and examination of the dairy, the professor delivers an opinion. If it is positive, professor enters at the intended place in the index: "Compulsory professional practice completed" as well as the period in which the professional practice was performed.
