Research areas (year 2018):

Algal bioactive tetrapyrroles: (a) effects on the structure, stability and activity of blood proteins; (b) encapsulation in micro/nano-emulsion carriers.

Effects of drugs (different classes of psychopharmaceuticals) on the structure and activity of key antioxidant enzymes (in vitro, ex vivo, in vivo).

The contribution of non-canonical interactions (weak hydrogen bonds, anion–π, cation–π, π–π, amide–π, lone pair–π) on stability and engineering of biomacromolecules.
