Distribution of the Balkans Morhocarabus populations

The map shows the areas where the presence of Morphocarabus populations was reliably ascertained. The data encountered in literature (primarily data quoted by Breuning, 1932-1937) were not included, due to the impossibility of their taxonomic verification and possible errors in locality identification (e.g. the mention of comptus from locality Golubinje, East Serbia).
