Short description of the project

The project includes research on enzymes produced by microorganisms (bacteria and fungi), native and recombinant. In order to produce high-value products, the enzymes will be utilized to process waste materials and by-products from the corn industry. The project's scientific contribution can be seen in the creation of unique enzyme preparations that aim to process corn components thoroughly while leaving no waste material. New biocomposites for wastewater treatment will be made from the components left over after the enzyme action. Young researchers and doctorate students interested in the project will be able to advance personally and professionally as a result of the project's implementation.
