Goals: |
The goal of this course is to provide basic theoretical and practical knowledge of chemical and physical principles which are important in analytical chemistry and chemistry in general. |
Outcome: |
During the course, a student should learn the basic concepts regarding solutions, protolytic theory of acids and bases, buffers, ion dissolution and precipitation, complex and redox systems, extraction and chromatography; perform a complete classical qualitative analysis of an unknown sample; write simple reports and use the literature from the field of analytical chemistry. |
