Scientific interest

Organic chemistry, organic photochemistry, chemistry of steroids and modified steroidal molecules, peptide chemistry, applied chemistry, i.e.

a) synthesis of compounds with the fixed peptide chains in different positions of steroidal nucleus;

b) solid-phase synthesis of peptide-steroidal bioconjugates formed from different peptide chains and some biologically active steroidal molecules;

c) synthesis and reactivity of macrocyclic molecules derived from steroidal molecules of defined stereochemistry;

d) introduction of sulfur atom in biologically active steroidal ketones and aza-steroidal molecules of lactam structure, and investigation of chemical reactivity thiosteroidal derivatives obtained as well as their biological activity.

Other activities
